Agriturism:

• allows farmers the possibility of a new source of income for two purposes: first, to improve the quality of life on the farm; second, to allow the farm to invest in its agricultural base;
• allows the possibility of using the patrimony of rural buildings non longer in use for farm production…this produces important benefits for the preservation and improvement of the architectural heritage in the countryside and creates work for local artisans;
• emphasizes the importance of environmental resources that are capable of bringing forth genuine emotions associated with silences, colors, fragrances, and sounds the are difficult to find in the city;
• constitutes a factor in promoting employment in agriculture and helps attract youth back to the land.

Thanks to all of this, one can say that agriturism offers a new and priceless exchange of values between the rural and more urban modern worlds.
